Biography:
Dr. Jamison is a licensed psychologist, author, and professor at the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School. She has a strong counselor educator and social justice identity, with research and academic interests in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging issues for individuals from marginalized backgrounds in substance use assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. She has served in various capacities at the Graduate School, including training director, faculty coordinator, and Master’s Applied Project director. She completed her doctorate in counseling psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and her predoctoral internship at Duke University. She is the author of Wounded Healing: The Art and Soul of Surthriving.
