Biography:
Mordy Gottlieb, LCSW, CSAT, is a clinician, educator and group therapy specialist who founded The Mordy Effect to elevate group work in addiction and mental health settings. With advanced training in psychodrama, sociometry, experiential therapy and accelerated resolution therapy (ART), he trains clinicians across residential, PHP and IOP programs to run safer and more engaging group sessions. Mordy specializes in substance use disorders, process addictions and men’s mental health. His hands‑on approach combines evidence-informed techniques with real‑world experience, helping treatment centers improve client engagement, retention and clinical outcomes by teaching staff how to build emotional safety and manage group dynamics effectively.
