Biography:
Nadiya Burmaka, PhD, is a Ukrainian psychiatrist and researcher specializing in the theory and practice of addiction treatment. She is the author of more than 60 scientific publications and holds over 20 patents and invention certificates in the fields of psychotherapy and substance dependence.
Dr. Burmaka previously directed a specialized medical center for addiction treatment and led a scientific research center for more than 15 years. She also taught at the Kharkiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. From 2016 to 2021, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the interdisciplinary scientific journal American Journal of Fundamental, Applied & Experimental Research (USA).
Her professional work focuses on psychotherapy, pharmacological compliance, smoking cessation support, and integrative approaches to addictive disorders. She has presented her research at numerous national and international scientific conferences.
