Biography:
Noah Shulkin grew up in Sacramento, CA and went to the University of Southern California, where he earned a B.S. in Human Biology. While living in Los Angeles, he volunteered with a mutual aid group, where he was introduced to the principles of harm reduction. Wanting to continue this work in Phoenix, he collaborated with the NOPAL Initiative, to provide outreach to the unhoused community and further the expansion of harm reduction in the region. He is currently pursuing his MD at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix where he hopes to specialize in Emergency Medicine.
