Dr. Obianuju Akujuobi is a final year psychiatry resident, a masters level psychotherapist and a trained radiologist. Her clinical experience includes treating patients with opioid and substance use disorder and severe mental illnesses, with a focus on individualized care, relapse prevention, and harm reduction. She is passionate about improving access to evidence-based addiction and mental health care, particularly for underserved populations. Her academic interests include precision psychiatry models to improve treatment outcomes, predict relapse, and advance personalized mental healthcare.
