Biography:
Dr. Renee Dickerson is an Air Force veteran, a licensed clinical professional counselor, a certified alcohol and drug counselor, and the founder of Victory Place, a nonprofit, and Her Service Matters, LLC. She earned her PhD from the Institute for Clinical Social Work and specializes in psychodynamic psychotherapy, sexual trauma, institutional betrayal, PTSD, grief, and dissociation. A former director of the Chicago Heights Vet Center (Department of Veterans Affairs), she is a co-national organizer of the Million Women Veterans March on Washington and the author of Unveiling the True Self.
