Title : Social communication and addiction to computer games among adolescents with Asperger syndrome
Abstract:
The aim of studies was to recognise social communication and addiction to computer games among adolescents with Asperger Syndrome. The character of studies was pilot. In this research under diagnostic survey the authorship questionnaire survey was used. he study was conducted in 2019 in Poland. The purposive sampling was used for this aim 50 persons with Autism spectrum with Asperger syndrome and 50 persons of control group (i.e. with “normal” development) took part in the study. Respondents were aged from 14 to 17. Research has previously suggested that children with Asperger Syndrome are at risk for problematic video game use, or so-called “video game addiction" and that it disturbs communication and social interaction.
