Title : Integrating bibliopoetry therapy and digital health technologies for inflammation management: A neuropsychosomatic perspective

Abstract:

This presentation explores the innovative integration of bibliopoetry therapy and wearable smart watch technology in managing inflammation through a multidisciplinary lens that complements the focus on the molecular, cellular, and systemic mechanisms underlying inflammatory responses. Bibliopoetry therapy, utilizing structured reading and creative writing, has demonstrated efficacy in enhancing emotional regulation and resilience—traits intrinsically linked to neuroimmune function and inflammation modulation at cellular and molecular levels. Concurrently, smart watches provide real-time physiological monitoring and biofeedback, enabling personalized, mechanistically informed interventions. This chapter examines the neurobiological pathways—such as neuroimmune signaling and psychosomatic influences—connecting emotional, cognitive, and physiological responses in inflammation. By integrating digital health tools with narrative-based therapies, we introduce a holistic approach that bridges molecular mechanisms with systemic health, fostering innovative diagnostic and therapeutic strategies aligned with the book’s goal of advancing understanding and treatment of inflammatory diseases
