Biography:
Dr. Abrar Hussain Azad is a Professor of Public Health with over 18 years of teaching and research experience in community medicine and mental health. He holds a PhD in Public Health and has a specialized focus on culturally adapted cognitive behavioral therapy for substance use disorder in Pakistan. His work integrates clinical practice with public health approaches to address mental health challenges in low-resource settings. He has contributed to academic teaching, research development, and capacity building in behavioral health, with a growing interest in global mental health and evidence-based interventions.
