Biography:
Fatima Zahra Kessam is a PhD candidate in Neuroscience at Ibn Tofail University, Morocco. Her research investigates the relationship between sleep disorders and psychiatric conditions, focusing on schizophrenia. She combines clinical epidemiology with experimental modeling in Wistar rats to study how sleep disturbances affect behavior and symptom severity. Her work aims to generate translational insights to improve diagnosis and interventions. Fatima Zahra has presented her research at national scientific meetings and is committed to advancing understanding of the interactions between sleep and mental health.
