Biography:
Jolie S. Jemmott, MSN, RN, PMHNP-BC, is a 3rd-year PhD student at Duke University School of Nursing. She earned her BSN from Hampton University in 2019 and her MSN from the University of Pennsylvania in 2022. Jolie has clinical experience in medical-surgical and psychiatric settings and currently works as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in community-based outpatient services. Her research focuses on African American men with opioid use disorder, aiming to design culturally responsive interventions to reduce opioid use and improve mental health outcomes in underserved populations.
