Family mediator, consultant and trainer, MA, University of Oxford, social work qualifications, Universities of London and Bristol, 50 years' experience as a family mediator and 40 years as an international family mediation trainer in many countries. Co-founder and first director of Bristol Courts Family Conciliation Service, co-founder and firdst director of the Family Mediators Association, England and Wales 1989 . Author of Family Mediation 5th edition 2025 (7 foreign language editions) and Conversations with Young People in Family Mediation, Bloomsbury 2024. Co-author of Council of Europe Guide to Child-Inclusive Mediation 2025.
