Biography:
Meraj Ahmad is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Medicine at Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Pokhara, Nepal. He holds advanced qualifications in Public Health, Sociology, and Population Studies and is currently pursuing a PhD in Health Sciences. With more than 18 years of experience in medical education, public health research, and community-based health programs, his areas of expertise include epidemiology, mental health, behavioral sciences, communicable and non-communicable diseases, and research methodology. He has contributed to numerous national and international research projects and has authored several peer-reviewed publications on public health, mental health, substance use, HIV/AIDS, maternal health, and healthcare systems. His academic interests focus on evidence-based public health interventions, medical research, and capacity building in health sciences.
