Title : Corporate mindset: Aesthetics of banjaras community
Abstract:
The Banjaras, historically known as nomadic traders, artisans, and warriors, possess a unique socio-cultural fabric that intertwines resilience, adaptability, and aesthetic expressions with their psychological well- being. In contemporary settings, particularly within corporate frameworks, elements of the Banjara ethos—such as collectivism, risk-taking, and fluid identity—parallel essential corporate skills like adaptability, emotional intelligence, and innovation.
This study explores the intersection of corporate psychology and Banjara aesthetics, analyzing how their deeply embedded community-driven mindset, expressive art forms, and oral traditions influence modern leadership, decision-making, and behavioral adaptability in professional environments. The research delves into the psychosocial mechanisms of the Banjaras, focusing on their approach to uncertainty, survival instincts, and intrinsic motivation—attributes crucial in today’s corporate structures.
Furthermore, the aesthetic and symbolic dimensions of Banjara attire, dance, music, and storytelling are examined in relation to emotional expression, group cohesion, and identity reinforcement—all of which mirror workplace dynamics like team-building, stress resilience, and creative problem-solving. The findings suggest that integrating Banjara-inspired cultural resilience models into corporate behavioral strategies could enhance mental well-being, stress management, and innovative thinking among professionals. By bridging anthropology, behavioral psychology, and corporate mindsets, this research presents a compelling narrative on how indigenous wisdom can inform modern workplace well-being and leadership strategies.
