Title : Scientometric study of the global research on psychology
Abstract:
This research paper study focused on field of Psychology subject area in Global during the year 2024, data downloaded from Web of Science (WoS). Total papers global wise published 90,101 with 47,981 citations. The countries-wise maximum research papers published USA Country 18591 (20%) and 9457 (19.71%) citations with 29 h-index published, second highest papers published China 9517 (10.56%) papers and 5342 (19.71%) citations with 19 h-index received and 1650 (1.83%) publications and 533 (1.11%) global citations with an 8-h-index ranking of fourteenth were published in India. Most of the research papers published 51492 (57.15%) in the document “Article” all most 60% covered and documents wise “Meeting Abstract” papers published 13652 (15.15%). Sub-subjects Psychology subject areas maximum “Psychology” 36512 (40.52%) papers published and “Psychiatry” papers published 17420 (19.33%), and “Neurosciences Neurology” subject are papers 9919 with (11.01%) published, that Psychology, Psychiatry and Neurosciences Neurology these are maximum covered 70% the papers in Psychology sub field and only 3% below of the publications in psychology were published in the remaining 56 sub-subject areas. In the field of Psychology most of researcher and scientist focused on Psychology, Psychiatry and Neurosciences Neurology subject areas.
