Biography:
Chief Rob Reardon serves as Fire Chief and Director of Emergency Management for the Town of Duxbury, Massachusetts, where he leads fire, EMS, and disaster preparedness operations for the community. With more than 26 years in the fire service, he is recognized for his leadership in crisis management, organizational culture, and responder resilience.
Chief Reardon is a graduate of the Naval Postgraduate School’s Executive Leaders Program, the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer (EFO) Program, and Harvard University’s National Preparedness Leadership Initiative. He holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Mass Communications from Emerson College and Fire Science from Anna Maria College.
Before entering the fire service, he spent more than a decade as an award-winning Boston photojournalist covering major national news events, including presidential visits.
Chief Reardon is a nationally recognized speaker who has presented at Harvard University, the Naval Postgraduate School, and the Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC), one of the largest fire service conferences in the world.
