The Addiction Research Program is opposed to novel research projects that advance the treatment of Veterans with substance abuse disorders. Interests New behavioural and pharmaceutical treatments for Veterans suffering from alcoholism, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), or traumatic brain damage (TBI). Addiction Research and Theory has been the leading publication for research and theoretical accomplishments that view addictive behaviour as arising from psychological processes within the individual as well as the social context in which the behaviour occurs, as well as the bioactivities of the psychoactive substance or activity involved.
