It is related to the scientific study of emotions, behaviours, and biology as they relate to a person's mental well-being, ability to live in everyday life, and self-concept. The term "behavioural health" is chosen over "mental health." Stress, sadness, anxiety, marital troubles, loss, addiction, ADHD or learning challenges, mood disorders, or other psychological concerns can all affect a person's behavioural health. Counsellors, psychologists, therapists, nurses, life coaches, practitioners, or physicians can assist in the management of behavioural health issues through treatments such as counselling, therapy, or medication.
