Psychology Inhibition
All other branches of psychology are influenced by the concept of cognitive inhibition from traditional cognitive psychology. The techniques and approaches developed within cognitive psychology, as well as the theoretical ideas to which they are connected, are effective not just in the study of cognition but also throughout the field. In psychology, when one interacts with a member of the stereotype-relevant group, the sources of the label are brought to mind (initiation) and have an influence on one's imprint (submission). Although there are probably many examples in the fields of clinical and personality psychology, most focus on people who either had high or low levels of their respective characteristic anxiety.
