It is a condition in which an individual's perception and mental processes are disrupted and they are unable to comprehend reality. Delusion, also known as false belief and hallucination (seeing or hearing things that others do not see or hear), incomprehensible or gibberish speech, and inappropriate behaviour are all hallmarks of psychosis. During a psychotic episode, a person may also suffer depression, anxiety, sleep issues, social disengagement, lack of motivation, and difficulty functioning in general Schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is the most prevalent psychotic illness.
