It is a serious disorder in which the mind becomes diverted from reality, which is defined by a lack of contact with reality or separation from it, and which can result in severe mental diseases like schizophrenia. It could result from a medical condition, drug usage, or medicine. Hallucinations, delusions, and agitation are some of the frequent symptoms of psychotic illness. The individual who is afflicted by this illness is unaware of his actions. The cornerstones of treatment for these diseases are counselling, talk therapy, and certain medicines, including psychoactive ones.
