Sex addiction is a term used to describe hypersexuality or compulsive sexual behaviour disorder (CSBD). It is distinguished by obsessive involvement in sexual activities or sexual encounters. Sexual dependence, often known as sex addiction, is the inability of a person to control one's desires, actions, or thoughts when it comes to sexual activity. Hypersexuality (including nymphomania and satyriasis), erotomania, Don Juanism, and paraphilia-associated diseases are examples of connected disordered sexual behaviour. Medication, counselling, and in-person support groups are all part of the treatment.
