It is the kind of addictive betting game in which people used to bet, staking something against value with the consciousness of risk and hope of gain, on the result of a game, a contest or an uncertain event whose result may be determined by chance or accident or have an unexpected result by reason of the bettor’s miscalculation. Or we can say Gambling is the act of betting something valuable in the hopes of gaining something similarly valued on an uncertain outcome. Gambling, therefore, requires the presence of three elements: consideration, risk, and a payoff. Longer time frames are also usual, allowing bets on the outcome of an upcoming athletic event or even the full season of a certain sport. A single roll of the dice, a turn of the roulette wheel, or the finish line of a race are examples of instantaneous outcomes of bets.
