Smoking cessation is the process by which a person stops smoking. Because smoking is both hazardous to one's physical health and addictive, successfully stopping smoking can be both common and difficult. While quitting smoking is difficult, it is not impossible, as there are research-backed methods to boost the chances of quitting for good.
